Katie Zaffrann is an actress and singer dedicated to promoting the human spirit through performance. She has been seen in New York in Marry Harry (NYMF 2013); String (New Dramatists); A Christmas Carol (TBG and the new Chain Theatre); and at the Downtown Urban Festival, Midtown International Festival and numerous other readings and workshops.

claude kerven (mr. wright)

A director and screenwriter by trade, Claude Kerven has directed over 25 short films and commercial parodies for NBC’s Saturday Night Live, working with such celebrities as Eddie Murphy, Billy Crystal, Jim Belushi, Martin Short and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, as well as guest hosts Stevie Wonder, Lily Tomlin and Jerry Lewis. Kerven’s other directing credits include several Emmy award winning and nominated ABC Afterschool Specials, directing such notables as Viggo Mortensen and Sarah Jessica Parker. Kerven won an Academy Award for his student film, “Candy Store,” and was nominated for a Cable Ace Award for his Cinemax Comedy Special, “Birthday Boy.” As a screenwriter, Kerven worked as a staff writer for Sam Raimi’s Renaissance Pictures and was the co-writer of “Mortal Thoughts,” produced by Columbia Pictures and starring Bruce Willis, Harvey Keitel and Demi Moore. Kerven is currently the Chair of the 1-Year Filmmaking Program at the New York Film Academy, where he teaches directing and screenwriting. NAKED is Kerven’s debut as an actor.

Matthew Schatz moved to New York after graduating from Northwestern University in 2007. Since then, he has appeared in plays, musicals, on TV, and in film. Some of his favorite credits include Something For the Boys (NY), Les Miserables (Chicago), One Life to Live (Web), and his Subaru commercial currently airing on the SyFy channel.

Sean Robinson is an award-winning director/editor whose work has screened in over 40 international film festivals. becky froman, producer
Becky Froman is an independent film producer and media professional, working for Showtime Networks. She obtained her B.A. Degree in Women’s Studies and African-American Studies from The University of Maryland, College Park, and holds an M.A. in Media and Film Studies from The New School of Public Engagement. Becky produced and directed Spinning Around (2011), the official music video for indie folk band Tyro Marks, and co-wrote the comedy television pilot Juice Rats (2010). Her other film credits include WE’RE GLAD YOU’RE HERE (2010), and The Strange History of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell (2011). piero basso, AIC, director of photography
Born and raised in northern Italy, Piero Basso studied Cinema and Art Studies at the University of Turin. Mr. Basso began building a career as a director of photography while also working as a Steadicam operator. He photographed a number of award winning films and documentaries with some of the most interesting young directors in Italy. Piero shot six feature films, as well as many short films and documentaries. They have received international recognition, including nominations at the European Film Awards the David di Donatello Awards, and recognition at film festivals such as Oberhausen, Edinburgh, Turin, and Huesca.
Piero strongly believes that the work of the director of photography is to understand a vision and recreate it on the silver screen, with special sensitivity to the creative integrity. After living and working in Rome, Italy for years, Piero now resides in New York City, where he lives with his wife and daughter. Mike Pettry is a New York based composer/lyricist and musician. He is a 2012 ASCAP Foundation Harold Adamson Lyric Award winner, and a 2007 Jonathan Larson Award winner. Musicals written include Hardcore West Virginia (2012 ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop with Stephen Schwartz), The Time Travelers Convention, Long Distance, World of Heroes, The Wonderful World of Zidney (featured highlight at Kennedy Center Page to Stage Festival), and Flipside (2007 NYU Frederick Loewe Award winner). Mike’s songs have been performed all over the country and in the UK. Muzz Skillings of Living Colour produced several of Mike’s songs for the Lin McEwan album "When I Wake..." Mike’s solo album “The Voices In My Head” is available on iTunes, as is the original cast album of The Time Travelers Convention. He also wrote the score for the film The Promise of New York (Big Muddy Film Festival Audience Choice Best Documentary).

Gates Thomas is a New York-based composer, conductor, multi-instrumentalist and recording producer who has worked with Paula Cole, Bobby McFerrin, Pat Metheny, Gary Burton, Jim Hall, John Scofield, Sadao Watanabe, the New American Orchestra of Chicago, Abe Laboriel Jr., Matt Garrison and Christian Fabian. He is Associate Professor of Contemporary Writing and Production at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and has presented master classes throughout North America and at l’Ottava in Rome.
